Manhandler™ Winch

The Miller  Manhandler™ winch is a manually operated winch designed
for work positioning of personnel and emergency rescue from confined
space applications.

The Manhandler™ is equipped with an independent over speed mechanism
and a cable level winding system. The unit is available with 18 or 30 metres
of galvanised cable.

This man-rated work support and rescue winch is lightweight and easy to use.
It is manually operated by simply rotating the handle to raise or lower personnel
or materials. Galvanised cable is standard, stainless and rope is available.

  • Gear ratio is 6:1 with an average lifting speed of 3.8m/min
  • Quick-mount bracket for attachment to tripod and safety hook with
    impact indicator
  • Free-wheel mode for operator maneuverability and overload clutch
  • Polyethylene housing for reduced weight and superier corrosion resistance

These winches are rated  for 204kg with an 11:1 safety factor.  It offers 2
cranking speeds capable of retrieval/ descent at average speeds from 4m/min
up to 9m/min.

  • Digital usage indicator counts revolutions of drum for servicing
  • Braking system with 3 independent working pawls and centrifugal
    back-up system
  • Lifeline includes swiveling snap hook with overload indicator

The Riggers mate kit includes:

Hi-Safe REscue Pulley System

This 4:1 Rescue Pulley System has been developed for back up and rescue situations. The Hi-Safe pully system has a built in lift and lock system tha tcan be manually overridden. Coming standard with 50m of rope that allows for approximately 12m of lift. This system comes standard with a heavy duty rope bag.
